I ordered two of these LED PAR20 bulbs and both worked out of the box. Light is more of a bright white, as they are 4800k. They are also available in a warm white at 3000k. I did a lot of research, and these bulbs are brighter in terms of rated lumens (400) than most other PAR20 LED bulbs. Flood width was rated as 45 degrees - wider than some other PAR20 "flood" bulbs. Brightness is on par with the PAR20 incandescent and compact fluorescents I'd been using in my recessed ceiling fixtures. It is nice that the LED bulbs are instant on at full brightness - compared to compact fluorescents that take a couple minutes to come up to full brightness. Rated life is 50,000 hours - which remains to be seen. I rated the bulbs 4 stars instead of 5, only because the bulbs are shorter than the standard compact fluorescent and incandescent PAR20 bulbs by about an inch. (They are about 3-1/4 inches long.) This leaves them recessed further into my ceiling fixtures, which don't seem to have adjustable depth. The greater recess limits the spread of the flood light a bit - but not bad overall. I will order more of these bulbs based on how they are working. The vender did ship them promptly and they arrived well packaged.

I have about 130 6" and 4" LEDs installed in my home; the 6" units are Cree LR6, the 4" mostly Philips non-dimming PAR20s. On a lark I tried one of these and immediately loved it; the light is bright, reasonably focused has a color temperature of around 3000K and, unlike the Philips units, these are dimmable. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that I subsequently ordered four more and had one unit arrive DOA -- but I like them enough to have ordered another as a replacement.

Most people who buy this bulb will buy it because it is a PAR 20 shape bulb. Technically this is a PAR 20 as it has the right diameter at the surface of the bulb. Still, many who buy this, like myself, will buy it to go into an over the stove hood. In that application the MOL, or "length" of the bulb is critical so that the surface of the bulb is even with the surface of the hood. This bulb is almost an inch longer than a standard PAR 20 Halogen, and hence sticks out of a hood by almost an inch. This makes them unusable as they look ridiculous sticking out of a kitchen hood.
Second, the fins on the sides of the bulb have no cover over the led lights, so that light bleeds out of the sides of the fins. This seems like a waste of light, and with the end of the bulb sticking out of some applications, the fins glow when the light is on. This too is not acceptable.
Hence if you are buying these to go into a can that is long enough that the entire bulb will be inside the can, it is probably fine. If you are buying them for a PAR 20 application where the length (MOL) of the bulb is important, these are probably not the right bulbs for that application.
